The Guelph Storm have lost Parker Snelgrove for an indefinite amount of time after surgery suffered in a recent game

The Guelph Storm have announced that forward Parker Snelgrove will be out of action, undergoing surgery for a fractured ankle.

Snelgrove, 19, was injured early in Guelph's game Sunday against the Kitchener Rangers, having left in the first period and not returning to the ice.

An update was not immediately had regarding the status of Snelgrove. The Storm did not give a timeline for how long Snelgrove could be out, but that the team will update when the surgery is had.

Snelgrove in his fourth OHL season, having been a second round pick of Guelph in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, 30th overall. Snelgrove has appeared in 191 games for the Storm, with 23 goals, 35 assists, & 58 points. Snelgrove has a point in six games for Guelph this season.
