Eleven players from the OHL will have the chance to represent Canada in Sweden at the World Juniors, including three London Knights, and two North Bay Battalion.

Canada has released the roster for their World Junior Selection Camp, which takes place next week in Oakville, Ontario.

11 out of 30 players on the preliminary roster are from the OHL.

The top players selected from the OHL are Owen Beck (PBO), Carson Rehkopf (KIT), and Dom DiVincentiis (NB).

Owen Beck represented Canada at the World Juniors in 2023, though he didn't play a huge role. It's safe to say that Beck will get his full-time opportunity this year, likely as a bottom-six centre. His two-way game and all-round reliability is incredibly appealing for a tournament team like this.

Carson Rehkopf continues to lead the OHL in points, as the Seattle Kraken draft pick has been unstoppable. He has found his groove consistency-wise, and he is one of the most toolsy offensive forwards on this preliminary roster.

Dom DiVincentiis — Winnipeg Jets Prospect — hasn't had the greatest start this season, especially due to injury. Nonetheless, he is one of Canada's better goaltending prospects at the moment. He has a legitimate shot at becoming Canada's starter for this tournament.

Additionally, this roster includes three London Knights; Denver Barkey, Easton Cowan, and Oliver Bonk.

These three have been London's best players this season, and each is showing why they were selected in the 2023 NHL Draft.

Barkey has been electric and creative, Cowan has elevated his offence to a whole new level, and Bonk has been his solid, reliable, defensive-self.

This trio will be a fun one to watch, should they all make the final roster.

In addition to DiVincentiis, Ty Nelson will also represent North Bay at the Selection Camp. The highly-inclined offensive defenceman also has a high chance to make this roster.

Other invites include Owen Allard (SOO), Michael Buchinger (GUE), Jorian Donovan (BFD), and Paul Ludwinski (KGN).

There are several cuts still to make, but it is safe to say that the Ontario Hockey League will be well-represented at this year's World Juniors.
