The Ottawa 67’s have added a new addition to their forward corps.
The 67’s organization announced that they have signed forward Brayden Krawczyk to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. He’s the fourth player with an NCAA commitment to sign with the team since May. He is committed to the University of Massachusetts.
Krawczyk, 17, recorded one goal in seven games for the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL during the 2024-25 season. However, he spent the majority of last season playing for Mount St. Charles Academy 16U AAA, recording 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists) in 38 games.
The Etobicoke, Ontario native was drafted by the 67’s in the eighth round (156th overall) in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. In his draft year, he played for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens U16 AAA of the GTHL. He led his team in goals with 22 and points with 43, tying teammate Javian Nei.
A few of his minor hockey teammates have gone on to become impactful OHL players — Dima Zhilkin (Saginaw), Jacob Xu (Kitchener), and Lucas Ambrosio (Erie).
Oshawa Generals Sign NHL Draft-Eligible Russian Forward, Finalizing Import Roster
On Wednesday, the Oshawa Generals finalized their import roster for the 2025-26 season, signing their third-round pick from the 2025 CHL Import Draft.
“Brayden is a versatile forward whose game has shown steady improvement over the last couple of seasons. Brayden’s addition will inject more size and skill into our lineup,” said Ottawa 67’s GM James Boyd.
Krawczyk is a big kid, standing tall at 6-foot-3 and weighing 170 pounds. He enters his NHL draft year this season and can use the OHL’s publicity to shine in front of scouts.
