London Knights defenceman Sam Dickinson has been named one of the captains for the CHL Top Prospects Game in Moncton next week.

London Knights defender Sam Dickinson has been named the captain of Team Red at the CHL Top Prospects Game next Wednesday, January 24th.
Sam Dickinson has not only been one of the best draft eligible defencemen in the CHL, but one of the best in the entire draft class. He has often been projected in the top ten among all draft eligibles.
Dickinson's play style is one that we don't typically see from seventeen or eighteen-year-olds. When watching him, it is easy to mistake him for a twenty-eight year old veteran.
He is so patient and poised with the puck on his stick and he plays a very calculated game. Dickinson is not only physically mature at 6-foot-3, but he is mentally mature as well. He is so smart with and without the puck, he always seems to be in the right areas to make plays.
Dickinson has become one of London's go-to defenders on the blue line, whether they are at even strength, on the powerplay, or the penalty kill. He can play in virtually any game situation with his complete game.
From the point, Dickinson has the ability to get the puck to the net hard and fast. He has the patience to walk the blue line and wait for a shooting lane, and once he does, there is not much the goaltender can do.
The CHL made an unquestionable decision sending Dickinson to the CHL Top Prospects Game, and now he will captain Team Red.
With his mature, complete game on the ice, Dickinson's leadership and character has earned him this honour.
