In a busy day of trades, Owen Outwater has been traded from the Kingston Frontenacs to the Windsor Spitfires.

The 2005-born forward has some unfilled offensive potential that hasn't been able to flourish in Kingston. Outwater will join some skilled forwards in Windsor, such as Liam Greentree and Oliver Peer. Their systematically offensive game will compliment Outwater's game quite well, compared to the lack of offensive talent in Kingston.

Today, the Spitfires traded away Alex Christopoulos and Rodwin Dionicio, two significant offensive talents. Bringing in Owen Outwater provides some secondary offense, and certainly depth that they are lacking.

Outwater has 9 points through 17 games this season. Going from one rebuilding team to another likely isn't ideal for Outwater, but Windsor provides a new opportunity for him. He will be able to play with some more high-end talent with Greentree and Peer.

In return, Kingston obtains three draft picks after trading away three to Saginaw earlier today. They receive two third round picks and one fourth round pick, the same package that they sent to the Spirit.

The Frontenacs have now gotten rid of a top-six forward in Owen Outwater, and brought one in with Luke McNamara.

Despite this move, both teams are still in rebuilding situations. Kingston has recently broken the .500% win percentage with their win over the 67's yesterday, but they still sit in the middle of the pack. Windsor on the other hand, is sitting last in the Western Conference, seven points back from the Owen Sound Attack.
