The 2024 OHL Priority Selection gets underway on Friday night, and here is a prospect profile on one of the top talents in the class; Adam Valentini.

Adam Valentini has been on the radars of many OHL teams for the past two seasons. He played up as a fifteen-year-old last season with the U16 Mississauga Sens, and put on a great performance with them at last year's OHL Cup.
This season, Valentini joined the U16 Toronto Marlboros where he lit it up in his draft season. He was surrounded by some other high end talent, but Valentini was the root of his team's success all season. He played with players like Pierce Mbuyi, Weston Cameron, Kayden Brand, and Jude Bray — all players who will likely hear their names called early on.
What makes Valentini special is his creativity. He has the highest creativity in this draft class, and he never attacks the same way twice. He has an unbelievable shot and good hands, but it is his creativity that separates him from others in this class.
Valentini is also an elite manipulator of space. He's able to create seperation for himself and teammates, but also use that space to deceive opponents.
He's an incredibly entertaining player to watch anytime he is on the ice, and his shot has the ability to make jaws drop. Valentini has an elite shot release in this age group, and you can bet he is going to score anytime he creates a high danger chance for himself.
The Windsor Spitfires are projected to pick first overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, and Valentini is likely a player that they have been considering.
He is a player that is going to be able to break into the OHL and produce offence immediately. He can be that difference maker up front, but he also makes the players around him better.
Valentini played centre for the majority of this season with the Toronto Marlboros, but he will likely have to start on the wing in the OHL.
