With the OHL Priority Selection getting underway tonight, here is another prospect who won't have to wait long to hear his name called; Braidy Wassilyn.

Braidy Wassilyn has been at the top of conversation all season long regarding the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, and tonight we will see which team gets to bring on his talent.

Wassilyn arguably has the highest upside in this '08 draft class. He played on a team that didn't win many games this year with the Markham Majors, but he showed up every night and performed.

Whether it is his elite shot release, blazing explosiveness, or his creativity, he has the potential to be a superstar at the next level. He's always several steps ahead of his opponents, and he reads and anticipates the game that much quicker too. Wassilyn's shot is lethal anytime he is in the offensive zone, and he has high-end playmaking tools too.

Wassilyn always seems to have that "X factor" over his opponents when making big plays.

This is a player that you want to build your team around. Wassilyn makes all the players around him better, and you always have to be ready for the puck when you're on the ice with him.

He can play the centre or on the wing, though he will likely start on the wing when he cracks the OHL. Wassilyn has the potential to be your "go-to" guy at the OHL level. Whether your team needs a goal or is defending a lead, Wassilyn should be on the ice.

With the Windsor Spitfires selecting Ethan Belchetz with the first overall pick, the Sarnia Sting are up at #2. The Sting would be smart to use this pick to select Braidy Wassilyn, as they are in need of a difference maker up front. Wassilyn can be this player.
