Sudbury Wolves centre David Goyette has become the first player to reach the 100 point mark in the OHL this season.

The race to the 100 point mark was a close one, between North Bay Battalion forward Anthony Romani (99), to Denver Barkey (93) or Dalyn Wakely (91). But in the end, David Goyette of the Sudbury Wolves was the first one to reach it.
Goyette has been a part of a "three-headed monster" in Sudbury this season with Dalibor Dvorsky and Quentin Musty. These three have had incredible seasons individually, and they have made the Wolves a top dog in the Eastern Conference.
David Goyette — the Seattle Kraken prospect —now has 101 points this season, including 36 goals. Goyette has been given the 'C' this season, as he has been leading Sudbury on and off the ice for the past couple of seasons.
Ever since Goyette broke into the OHL, he has been playing in a vital, top-six role with the Wolves. When he was a rookie, the Wolves were not as good as they are now, and he has helped this team turn their ship around.
Individually, Goyette is a high-paced, playmaking forward that can do a little bit of everything, but his ability to create and drive team offences is what stands out. When his team is creating, Goyette is typically the driver and dictator.
This is another dominant season for the 2004-born centre, and this year his team has a legitimate chance to be a top contender in the postseason.
If the Wolves are able to find success in the playoffs, it will be largely due to the success and play of David Goyette.
