Since returning from injury this season, Gabriel Frasca has been a point-per-game player and is performing when it matters most for the Frontenacs, as he gets a late start on his draft season.

Gabriel Frasca missed Kingston's first 24 games this season due to injury, but now he is back. The Frontenacs have been winning more as of late, and Frasca has played a huge part in their success.

Frasca has a point-per-game since returning, with 8 points in 8 games and two overtime winners. Both overtime winners were a result of great individual efforts and a highlight-reel finish.

Last year, Frasca had an impressive rookie season as a young player on a very weak team, playing as a top-six centre. He had 32 points through 58 games, and Kingston gave him experience in just about every game situation. Frasca has proven that he can be a reliable centre in both ends of the ice, but he can also dominate the game offensively.

For Frasca to score two phenomenal overtime winners in his first eight games back, it really speaks to his ability to step up in big moments and capitalize for his team.

The Caledon, Ontario-native is eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft, but he hasn't really had much "hype" to this point, largely due to his injury. With Frasca's hot start, he has surely included himself in some draft talks and earned a boost in his draft stock.

Kingston is struggling for yet another season, but they are nearing the .500% win percentage, which is a bright spot for them. They are a very young team — including Frasca — but they do need to insulate their young talent with some veteran presences. Their captain Paul Ludwinski has been a great role model for players like Frasca, with his intelligence and compete in the defensive end.

If Gabriel Frasca — the brother of OHLers Jordan & Jacob Frasca — continues on this pace, he will make his way onto draft boards very quickly this season.
