2024 NHL Draft prospect Jett Luchanko has been named the OHL's Most Sportsmanlike player for the 2023-2024 season.

Workhorse centre Jett Luchanko has been named the Most Sportsmanlike player by the OHL, as he concluded his draft eligible season with the Guelph Storm.
On the ice, there are not many players that are going to out-work and out-battle Jett Luchanko — and this helps him lead by example. He was the beating heart of the Guelph Storm this past season and he put up 74 points in 68 games in the meantime.
Luchanko is eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft, and has been able to play on bigger stages at the CHL Top Prospects Game, and at the U18 World Championships for Canada. At the Top Prospects Game, Luchanko finished first place in on-ice testing overall, coming first in many categories.
His dedication and work ethic on-and-off the ice reminds a lot of people of Easton Cowan last season. Cowan out-worked his way to becoming a first round pick last season, and Luchanko could do the same.
Luchanko plays a very high-compete game, and he has no fear driving with his body and creating in the high-traffic areas of the ice. He has a hard shot, and a lot of explosiveness in his stride.
The Guelph Storm centre has been named the OHL's Most Sportsmanlike player, and this award makes sense for a lot of reasons — including his work ethic, compete, and leadership visually on the ice.
Luchanko could hear his name called anywhere from the first round to the fourth round in this year's NHL Draft, but whichever team picks him will be getting a player who will out-work the rest.
