With the OHL trade deadline just over two weeks away, here is a Christmas/Holiday Wish List for each OHL team and what they should target at the deadline on January 10th.

With the Christmas & Holiday season upon us, and the trade deadline just a few weeks away, here is an OHL Wish List.

Listed beside each OHL team is one player type, position, or roster move that they could want to make at the OHL Trade Deadline on January 10th, 2024.

Listed in order of the current OHL League Standings:

Kitchener Rangers

A goaltender.

In addition to waiting for Carson Rehkopf to return from the World Juniors, the Rangers should be targeting a goaltender. Jackson Parsons has been good enough for Kitchener, but adding a layer of insurance in goal for the playoffs is never a bad idea.

Soo Greyhounds

A middle-six, secondary scoring forward.

Ottawa 67's

A veteran, top-six forward.

The 67's win a lot of close games, and they need more of an offensive presence that they can rely on.

Mississauga Steelheads

A defender that can provide offence consistently.

The Steelheads don't get much offence from their defencemen as is, but the recent injury to Jakub Fibigr really hurts their production from the blue line.

Saginaw Spirit

Nothing.

For the team that has everything, and has made loads of trades already this year. The Memorial Cup hosts don't need to make anymore moves.

London Knights

A couple of bottom-six depth forwards.

Guelph Storm

A reliable veteran two-way defender.

The Storm are likely receiving Matthew Poitras back from the Boston Bruins, and they will finally have their go-to player up front. With all the youth they have in their D core, a veteran presence would be beneficial for a playoff run.

Brantford Bulldogs

A goaltender.

Sudbury Wolves

To find consistency in the win column.

North Bay Battalion

A second power play quarterback defenceman.

They have Ty Nelson dominating on the first unit, but not much offence coming from the blue line throughout the rest of their D core.

Owen Sound Attack

Offensive depth.

Oshawa Generals

Offensive depth.

Peterborough Petes

A middle-six centre to add to depth down the middle.

Erie Otters

Likely sellers at the trade deadline.

Kingston Frontenacs

Can sell at the deadline to get one more high first round draft selection. Older players in their lineup that are worth a hefty return.

Flint Firebirds

Offensive depth.

Flint is very top-heavy, but there are a lot of inexperienced players in their bottom-six.

Sarnia Sting

The Sting lack a big piece that they can rely on in all situations. May be a solution found at the 2024 OHL Draft.

Barrie Colts

A power play quarterback.

Windsor Spitfires

Have been sellers this season, plan on the Spitfires to sell again at the deadline.

Niagara IceDogs

A goaltender for next season.
