The OHL has named their top performers in the month of November, and by no surprise, Filip Mesar took home Top Player of the Month.

The OHL has named their Top Performers of November, and yes, the Kitchener Rangers have taken over these awards once again.

Player of the Month: Filip Mesar (KIT)

Since being sent back to Kitchener from Syracuse in the AHL, Filip Mesar has not skipped a single beat. His dominance has earned him the top performer in November.

Mesar put up 22 points including 10 goals in November, as the Rangers continue to find success. Carson Rehkopf and Filip Mesar have been one of the OHL's strongest duos this season, and they continue to lead Kitchener to the top of the standings.

Mesar's pure skill has performed above anyone else at this level, and his natural ability to create with his variety of tools is undeniable. Mesar can do it all; he can shoot, he can manipulate defenders, and he can drive with his speed. He is a constant threat when he is on the ice, and when paired with Rehkopf, they are virtually unstoppable.

The Montreal Canadiens first round pick keeps proving himself as one of their top prospects in a deep prospect pool. He could not find success at the AHL level, largely due to his top-six type of game and need to be one of the top go-to offensive players. There is no denying Mesar's skill at the junior level, but the question remains whether he will be able to translate that to the professional level.

Defenceman of the Month: Zayne Parekh (SAG)

Zayne Parekh has been phenomenal this season as a second-year player in his draft eligible season. He ranks 7th among all OHLers in points as a 17-year-old defenceman, with 36 points in 26 games.

As the Spirit have succeeded this season, so has Parekh. Saginaw had a 10-game win streak for the majority of November, and Parekh was flawless through those games especially.

What makes Parekh special is his elite creativity from the blue line, and combination of vision, smooth-skating, and deception. He is always a threat in the offensive zone, and the majority of Saginaw's offence goes through his hands. He possesses so much confidence and swag to his game, when he is making decisions with the puck, no one can intimidate him.

Parekh shouldn't have to wait long to hear his name called in June at the NHL Draft, as he is emerging as one of the top defenders in this draft class.

Goaltender of the Month: Jackson Parsons

The goaltender on the most winningest team in the OHL; Jackson Parsons. Sure, there is an argument that Parsons' stats are getting padded due to the team in front of him. But returning from an injury-plagued season, Parsons has been unstoppable.

Parsons really turned it on in the month of November. He only allowed 2.05 goals-per-game on average, and put up back-to-back shutouts early in the month. Many of his wins have been 30-40 save performances, and he has been shutting the door.

The 19-year-old has locked up the starting position in Kitchener with the departure of last year's starter, Marco Costantini. It will be Parsons' goal to defend this season, and he will be the one to lead them through the regular and postseasons.

Rookie of the Month: Cole Davis

Though the Windsor Spitfires haven't exactly been great, their rookies have really stepped in. Cole Davis had a fantastic month, earning himself rookie of the month.

Davis put up 12 points through 15 games in November, including four multi-point games. He now leads all OHL rookies in points this season.

The 2006-born forward has been phenomenal alongside fellow draft-eligible winger Liam Greentree. These two have been putting the Spitfires on their backs in the offensive zone, generating a majority of their offence.
