Paul Ludwinski was cut from Canada's World Junior team back in December, but has been on a tear ever since returning to Kingston.

21 points in last 14 games — that's how dominant Paul Ludwinski has been since returning from Canada's World Junior camp back in December.

The Chicago Blackhawks prospect was invited to Canada's World Junior camp — which is an accomplishment in itself. But Ludwinski was cut from the final roster. He had an impressive performance at the selection camp, sticking to his own play style that we have come to expect from him. Unfortunately there were a lot of players vying for a bottom six role — as Ludwinski was — and he was not one of the final ones selected.

Since rejoining the Kingston Frontenacs, Ludwinski has been unstoppable. Not only has he been playing his typical reliable, two-way role, but he has been generating loads of offence.

In Kingston's last game on Tuesday versus Oshawa, Ludwinski had his best performance of the season with five points. He compiled two goals and three assists in his team's 6-4 win.

The Frontenacs captain has been leading an inexperienced team, one that didn't have many high expectations coming into the season. They have been one of the bottom-feeding teams for the past few seasons — since they let Shane Wright go.

Nonetheless, Paul Ludwinski continues to dominate and impress with each performance. He projects as a very smart, faceoff specialist, bottom-six centreman with the Blackhawks in the future.

His five point performance is just another day at the office for Ludwinski, and he will continue to try to push his team closer to clinching a playoff spot.
