The Flyers will be going with this goalie against the Wild.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers picked up a solid 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night (Dec. 12). With this, they have now won two straight games and will look to build on it against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 14).

Flyers head coach John Tortorella has already announced that Samuel Ersson will be the club's starting goaltender against the Wild.

Ersson, 25, last played on Dec. 10 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 2018 fifth-round pick stopped 15 out of 18 shots in the win.
