- Chicoutimi Saguenéens (▲2): The Sags have really started to look like a top tier team as of late, picking up points in nine of their last 10 games.
- Sherbrooke Phoenix (▲2): The Sherbrooke Phoenix might be one of the hottest teams in the QMJHL recently, picking up six wins in their last seven games.

- Baie-Comeau Drakkar (▼3): The Drakkar have lost a step recently, dropping their last three games in regulation.
- Halifax Mooseheads (▼3): Once near the top of the leaderboard, the Mooseheads have fallen mightily this season. One might expect stars like Rousseau to be shopped the next few days as Halifax officially begins their rebuild.
