- Blainville-Boisbriand Armada: The Armada have really picked up steam as of late, picking up points in their last four as well as winning eight of their last 10. With the second highest goals for in the league, trade deadline acquisition Felix Hamel has been able to turn those into victories -- winning in eight of his 10 games with the team thus far.
- Charlottetown Islanders: The Islanders remain one of the bottom halfs fastest risers with seven wins in their last 10, and a perfect three in their last three. They've not only beaten weaker teams but secured victories over much stronger teams like Sherbrooke, Baie-Comeau, Rouyn-Noranda, Rimouski and even No. 1 Moncton last game.

- Saint John Sea Dogs: The Sea Dogs have officially lost the plot on this season, with six straight losses on an already underwhelming season. Considering that 10 of the team's 19 wins have occured in extra time and that they still have yet to lose outside of regulation this season, the team has it in them to dig in and succeed.
