Now a month into the QMJHL regular season, the league is beginning to solidify itself.

Drummondville, Moncton and Halifax seem to be the teams to beat this season.

Meanwhile the Titan, who are now entering the top-10, are the team with arguably the most upward momentum.

Teams like the Olympiques, the Tigres, the Foreurs and the Islanders are in desperate need of a lifeguard, whilst the Cape Breton Eagles seem to have caught a rhythm in the short term.

See last week's rankings

Biggest Risers

  • Cape Breton (▲5): After three weeks of free-falling, the Eagles have taken flight as they've won three straight.
  • Acadie-Bathurst (▲3): The Titan continue their strong start to the season, entering the top-10 off the backs of three wins.
  • Moncton (▲2): After faltering a bit, the Wildcats have caught a groove again, once again re-affirming themselves and their competition that they are among the top dogs.

Biggest Fallers

  • Sherbrooke (▼4): After starting the season 5-1-0, the wheels came off the wagon this week -- dropping three.
  • Chicoutimi (▼3): It's hard to remain at the top. It's even harder to do so after dropping three games when the rest of the top teams had strong weeks. At least two of them were in extra time.
  • Val-d'Or (▼2): The Foreurs give up half their recent gains, thanks to a three losses this week.
