The second week of QMJHL hockey this season has concluded, and with it comes a new leader in our power rankings.
That team is the Drummondville Voltigeurs, who remain the league's sole team to have yet to lose in regulation.
The former leader -- the Moncton Wildcats -- fall out of the top three thanks to a dysmal 0-1-1 week, and the surging of the Halifax Mooseheads and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
At the bottom, remains the Val-d'Or Foreurs, who were able to pick up a win against the Armada, but got decimated by the Voltigeurs.

Biggest Risers
- Saint John (▲4): After losing both of their matches in the first week, the Sea Dogs redeem themselves by going undefeated this week.
- Sherbrooke (▲3): The Phoenix also had themselves a week, going undefeated as they try to inch themselves out of the basement of the power rankings.
- Halifax (▲2): Despite losing a lot of key talent this off-season, the Mooseheads aren't showing it on the ice. They've jumped six spots in just two weeks.
Biggest Fallers
- Cape Breton (▼4): I don't think anyone expected Cape Breton to completely fall flat to start the season, but here we are. It's still early, but the team needs to start getting going. Hopefully, having their NHL prospects around can help with that.
- Moncton (▼3): After being the number one team to start the season, Moncton has a bad week. Turns out, Gardiner MacDougall is a mortal man.
- Rouyn-Noranda (▼2): After a blazing first week, the Huskies fall back down to earth a bit, picking up a loss in regulation and in extra time.
