Victoriaville Tigres (2) - Cape Breton Eagles (1)

The last place Victoriaville Tigres were able to squeak out a rare win against the rising Cape Breton Eagles, thanks to a massive performance from 2025 NHL draft eligible goaltender Gabriel D'Aigle -- stopping 38 of 39 and even notching an assist on their first goal. The team also saw fellow 2025 NHL draft eligible, defenseman Maddox Labre, notch his first QMJHL goal as the game winner.

Despite the loss, the Eagles were once again bailed out many times by 2005-born goaltender Alexis Cournoyer -- whose 28 of 30 performance continues his miracle run, where he's amassed a .941 save percentage across 13 games.

Saint John Sea Dogs (0) - Baie-Comeau Drakkar (14)

The Baie-Comeau Drakkar decimate Saint John, posting two touchdowns on the Sea Dogs. All but four skaters from the Drakkar made the scoresheet, with New Jersey Devils prospect centerman Matyas Melovsky etching his name on it seven times -- with three goals and four assists. Both left winger Samuel Boisvert and right winger Alexis Michaud had identical games, with a goal and four assists, and 2025 NHL draft eligible goaltender Lucas Beckman got his seventh career shutout, stopping 30 for 30. 

The Sea Dogs were a team in complete disarray, with no player with a break-even or positive +/-, and over half the team with a -4. Recently acquired goaltender Eric Young faced 12 of the 14 goals, being pulled in the first but returning to the game just eight minutes and two goals later due to a freak injury to goaltender Justin Robinson.

Regarding disciplinary action, there was none on this play, however Sea Dogs defenseman Nate Tivey received a game misconduct later in the game for a checking to the head call.

Chicoutimi Saguenéens (5) - Drummondville Voltigeurs (2)

Despite starting the game down 2-1, the Sags complete the comeback and beat the Voltigeurs 5-2. Anaheim Ducks prospect right winger Maxim Massé proved invaluable to the team by tallying two goals and an assist on the team's first three points. However, the team should also consider buying goaltender Raphael Precourt dinner as well, given his 45 save night against one of the most potent offensive teams in the league. 

Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (0) - Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (1)

Perhaps the one thing you'd least expect in a match-up between two of the QMJHL's most offensive teams is a 1-0 regulation win, but here we are. The lone goal was scored by Armada centerman Vincent Desjardins, assisted by 2025 NHL draft eligible centerman Mateo Nobert and 2026 NHL draft eligible defenseman Xavier Villeneuve. Goaltender Felix Hamel didn't have the better save percentage, but had the higher workload of the game's two goalies -- stopping an impressive 42 of 42 for the shutout.  Hamel's play this season has risen to the upper-tier of QMJHL goaltenders, having picked up 11 wins over 13 games and a .927 save percentage since being dealt at the deadline to Blainville.

Huskies goaltender and 2025 NHL draft eligible Samuel Meloche was no slouch, either, stopping 29 for 30. However, the biggest loss might not have been the one last night, but instead overage defenseman Ty Higgins who picked up a game misconduct at the end of the game for abuse of officials. As such, he's been suspended one game by the league.
