The fourteenth week of QMJHL action kicks off with a single contest, a match between the Shawinigan Cataractes and the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.

Both teams are well in the playoff race, but perhaps had greater expectations with the strong youth core in Chicoutimi and the addition of Calgary Flames first round pick Matvei Gridin this off-season for Shawinigan.

Gridin has been a major factor in the Cataractes offense, potting 40 points (19+20) on the season thus far for the team's lead -- and tied for 10th in the league.

Not far behind him are forwards Vince Elie (39 in 34) and Felix Lacerte (38 in 34).

As for the Sags, their team has been led offensively by forward Emmanuel Vermette with 39 points (19+20).

This is the first time since September that these two teams have met, with both teams taking a game each. In both games, the winning team scored seven goals -- so we could very well see another high scoring affair at 7 PM EST in Chicoutimi.
