Hockey has returned last night as the QMJHL pre-season has gotten underway.
The QMJHL's two north-western teams battled last night to begin the pre-season, with the Huskies besting the Foreurs with a final score of 4-0.
They will meet again at 6 PM tonight, this time in Val-d'Or.
The 7 PM game between the Victoriaville Tigres and Quebec Remparts was cut short with the final score of 2-0 with just over five minutes left in the third period due to too much fog in the arena.
According to the Quebec Remparts twitter, the game was cut short as the Remparts had scored their first goal of the game.

As it was only a pre-season game, the final minutes of the game will not be replayed.
However, the two teams will meet again tonight in Quebec City, where the Remparts will try to take revenge after last night's game unfortunate end.
Even though it is pre-season, we figured it was best to start awarding ;player of the night honours, and last night, there was no more clear option than Sherbrooke defender Liam Henley.
Henley, 18, had himself a ridiculous night scoring a goal and three assists while helping the Phoenix edge the Drummondville Voltigeurs 7-6.
