In their previous four battles this season, the Armada have picked up a 3-1 record over the Phoenix, outscoring them 16-11. However, the teams have only faced off once since the trade deadline, with the Sherbrooke Phoenix just edging out the Armada 5-4 in overtime.
Notably, both Sherbrooke (0-3-0) and Blainville (0-3-2) are on a cold stretch coming into the playoffs. As such, the first team to break the ice, may likely also end up as the team to take the series.
