Moncton Wildcats (4) - Drummondville Voltigeurs (1)
Despite getting peppered with 43 shots, the Wildcats came out on top against the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Detroit Red Wings prospect Rudy Guimond's 42 saves help secure the win for the No. 1 Wildcats. Calgary Flames prospect defenseman Etienne Morin (0+2) and Tampa Bay Lightning prospect defenseman Dyllan Gill (1+1) picked up multi-point nights for the Wildcats.
Despite the loss, Voltigeurs overage goaltender Riley Mercer had a good night with 33 saves on 36 shots.
Acadie-Bathurst Titan (4) - Halifax Mooseheads (3) - OT
After dropping the first three goals, Acadie-Bathurst forwards Tyson Goguen (2+0) and Colby Huggan (1+1) help complete the comeback so that the Titan were able to secure the win in overtime. Huggan was able to score the game-tying goal -- his 20th of the season -- with just three seconds remaining.
Charlottetown Islanders (1) - Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (3)
Despite Blainville being limited to just 17 shots, 2025 NHL draft prospect Mateo Nobert picked up two goals in the Armada's 3-1 win over the Charlottetown Islanders. As such, one must commend Armada goaltender Felix Hamel's 27 save performance for helping keeping the game out of reach for the Islanders who otherwise dominated in the back half of the game.
Rimouski Océanic (5) - Baie-Comeau Drakkar (2)
Overager Jonathan Fauchon (1+3) tallies points on four of five Rimouski goals as they defeat last year's playoff finalists, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
Of note, Baie-Comeau Drakkar forward Shawn Pearson was handed a game misconduct for acting as an aggressor in a fight. No other player was given a fighting major.
Chicoutimi Saguenéens (7) - Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (3)
With three goals by himself, Anaheim Ducks prospect Maxim Masse of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens was able to match the goalscoring of his opponents last night, the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, in a 7-3 win for the Sags. Chicoutimi goaltender Raphael Precourt was electric between the pipes, with 38 saves on 41 shots.
Val-d'Or Foreurs (3) - Gatineau Olympiques (2)
2025 NHL draft eligible centerman Nathan Brisson scored two goals, including the OT game winner for the Foreurs in their 3-2 win over the Gatineau Olympiques. Fellow draft eligible, goaltender Emile Beaunoyer, was able to collect 24 saves over 26 shots in the win.
Quebec Remparts (6) - Shawinigan Cataractes (5) - SO
The Shawinigan Cataractes started their game strong against the Quebec Remparts, with a natural hat trick from forward Louis-Philippe Fontaine in the first, before scoring two more goals over the course of the game to make it 5-0. Then, with 12 minutes left in the game the Remparts broke the shutout and the Cataractes lead came crashing down. With four points (1+3), defenseman Alexandre Desmarais was all over the Remparts comeback. Defenseman Benjamin Vigneault ended up being the unlikely hero for the Remps in the shootout.
Sherbrooke Phoenix (6) - Victoriaville Tigres (2)
Sherbrooke Phoenix centerman Hugo Primeau and right winger Chad Bellemare combined for five of the Phoenix's six goals in their victory over the Victoriaville Tigres. Goaltender Linards Feldbergs shut the door, with 28 stops on 30 saves.
