This week of QMJHL actions kicks off with a double-header
At 7 PM eastern, the No. 9 Blainville-Boisbriand Armada take on the No. 14 Saint John Sea Dogs. Both of these teams are headlined by the impressive seasons of 2025 NHL draft eligibles Justin Carbonneau (59 in 43) and Mateo Nobert (52 in 43) for the Armada and Zachary Morin (29 in 36) for the Sea Dogs.
This is the first of two meetings between these two teams this season, with the Armada taking both games last season.
Meanwhile, the No. 8 Acadie-Bathurst Titan will face off against the No. 15 Quebec Remparts, in their second meeting this year. The Titan handedly beat the Remparts in the first meeting, 5-1.
These two teams are polar opposites, in many ways. The Titan have the third lowest goals against in the league with 124 and the worst powerplay percentage, converting on just 11.6 per cent of their powerplays. On the other hand, the Remparts let in the fourth most amount of goals, but are among the top half in the league in powerplay percentage with a solid 23.2 per cent conversion rate.
