
As of yesterday, three players have found new teams for the 2024-25 season after being selected off of waivers.
The Saint John Sea Dogs claimed 19-year old right winger Ben Cross off waivers from Rimouski.
Last season, he appeared in 24 games and scored 6 points (3+3) which was on pace for 17 points in a full 68-game season.
The Chicoutimi Saguenéens also were active, claiming Val-d'Or Foreurs defenseman Thomas Hebert off of waivers.
The 19-year old split time between Shawinigan and Val-d'Or, notching 5 points (2+3) over 57 games with a -39.
Lastly, the Quebec Remparts have claimed 17-year old centerman Gabriel Courchesne off of waivers from Drummondville.
He has yet to play a game in the QMJHL, playing instead in Quebec AAA where he notched 59 points (24+35) in 35 games.
