The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada announced via Twitter/X that they have signed 2025 NHL draft eligible forward Rafael Cloutier.
Cloutier, 17, had 46 points (16+30) across 34 games with South Kent Prep School in the US 18U AAA circuit. There, he was teammates with recent Charlottetown Islanders' US-born signee Jude Herron at South Kent.
The 6-foot-3 left winger joins the Armada as an undrafted free agent, and is expected to play with the Armada until the 2026-27 season when he is committed to head to Clarkson University. He is set to become the first QMJHL player to commit there.
