Bruins beat reporter Ty Anderson broke on Twitter/X that Boston has signed prospect defenseman Loke Johansson of the Moncton Wildcats to an entry level contract.
Johansson, 18, joined the Cats this season after getting drafted by the team 37th overall in the 2024 CHL Import Draft. He's got five points (1+4) across 15 games thus far, on the No. 1 ranked QMJHL team according to our power rankings this week.
Last season, the 6-foot-3 blueliner split time between Swedish J-20 and the second-tier Swedish pro league, Allsvenskan. He amassed 13 points (5+8) across 33 games with AIK Jr., and one point (0+1) over 19 games with AIK's men's team.
He joined the Bruins organization as the team's sixth round pick in 2024 with the 186th pick.
