The Cape Breton Eagles announced that they had signed 2005-born defenseman Andrew Brown.
Brown, 19, has 19 points (6+13) across 23 games with the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL. Brown is tied for tenth in points from a defenseman in the league.
The 5-foot-11 blueliner join the Eagles for the second-half of the 2024-25 season, before departing for the NCAA's St. Lawrence University next Fall.
The Oakville, Ontario native is a former 15th round selection by the Sudbury Wolves in the 2021 OHL Draft.
