The November CHL/NCAA agreement has opened the door for many college bound players to join the QMJHL last season who would've otherwise stayed in Jr. A.

One of these players was US-born right winger Christian Maro, who signed with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens last winter after potting 15 points (7+8) over 27 games with the Powerll River Kings of the BCHL.

After just 10 regular season games in the QMJHL, Maro is heading back to the BCHL as he's joining the Coquitlam Express for the 2025-26 season before joining the NCAA's College of the Holy Cross in 2026-27.

Across his 10 games with the Sags, Maro went point-less.
