The Chicoutimi Saguenéens have signed forward Patrick Murphy.
Murphy, 19, had 16 points (8+8) in 21 games with the Cranbrook Bucks of the BCHL.
Murphy is the second US Draft player to ever sign in the QMJHL following Joe Fleming (#22 Gatineau, 2019) who played one season with the Sherbrooke Phoenix in 2022-23.
The 5-foot-11 right winger was previously committed to Brown University, however he's apparently uncommitted now per Mark Divver.
