The Cape Breton Eagles have acquired centerman Joseph Henneberry from the Victoriaville Tigres in exchange for centerman Olivier Houde, per RDS' Stephane Leroux.
Henneberry is a four-year veteran of the league, having scored 138 points (68+70) over exactly career 200 QMJHL games, split between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the Victoriaville Tigres.
Henneberry -- who is coming off of a 69 point (34+35) season split between his former two teams -- has amassed four points (2+2) over four games thus far.

On the other hand, Olivier Houde has tallied 106 points (49+57) over three seasons and 142 games in the league -- all with the Cape Breton Eagles.
Houde put up his career best numbers last season with 61 points (31+30) over a full 68 games. However, he -- much like the Eagles -- has been off to an uncharacteristically poor start with only one point (0+1) over six games to start the year.
As the Eagles were aspiring contenders, this trade feels like the Tigres are doing them a favour by giving them a comparatively 'hotter' overager to help kick them into gear while taking on a struggling one.
However, both players have strong resumes -- so don't be surprised if Houde is able to turn his season around with a new look in Victoriaville.
