The veteran forward will head stateside following his overage QMJHL season.
The NCAA commitment pipeline never seems to sleep, and a new one has hit the timelines on Tuesday morning.
That would be Cape Breton Eagles assistant captain Eliot L'Italien, who announced his commitment to play Division I hockey at Union College following his overage season.
L'Italien, 20, has nine (2+7) points in 10 games for Cape Breton this season, his second with the team after being dealt by the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Now, he'll get to finish out his overage season with a perceived contender in Cape Breton before continuing his hockey career in college next season.
