    The Cape Breton Eagles have announced the signings of 2006-born goaltender Connor Towle and defenseman Noah Jettelson.

    Towle, 19, played 25 games with Hotchkiss School, posting a .920 save percentage while wearing the 'C'. The 6-foot-2 goaltender is committed to the College of the Holy Cross in 2026-27.

    Jettelson, 18, played 24 games with Taft School, potting 18 points (5+13). He is currently uncommitted to any NCAA programs, but was a former 16th round pick by the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL in 2024.

    Camp invitees

    The Cape Breton Eagles also announced a number of free agent camp invitees. Here they are below.

    • Slovak/Canadian 17-year-old forward Lucas Novak (2026 NHL draft), eight points (1+7) over 21 games in Slovakia2 and 15 points (6+9) over 19 games in Slovak U20.
    • 18-year-old forward Tristan Richard, who posted 31 points (16+15) over 35 games at the Maritime U18 AAA level.
    • 19-year-old forward Liam Oravsky, who tallied 28 points (16+12) in the OJHL.
    • 5-foot-10, 2008-born goaltender Marc-Olivier Pilotte (2027 NHL draft), who had an .891 save percentage over 28 games at the U18 AAA level in Quebec.
    • 17-year-old forward Declan MacLaughlan (2026 NHL draft), who had 63 points (33+30) over 37 games at the Maritime U18 AAA level
