

The Cape Breton Eagles have enlisted the help of five players to attend Cape Breton Eagles' camp, including a former Gatineau Olympiques blueliner.
17-year-old defenseman Jacob De Ladurantaye, who recently played for the Gatineau Olympiques last season, was invited to the team's main training camp per Jeremy Fraser of the Cape Breton Post.
De Ladurantaye is coming off of a nine point (1+8). 47-game rookie season with the Olympiques after formerly being selected in the fifth round by the team. He was recently passed over in the 2025 NHL draft.

They invited 17-year-old forward Carter Fogarty, 17-year-old defenseman William St. James and 18-year-old forward William Carrier from Ontario and 19-year-old forward Blake Burke from the United States.
