The Gatineau Olympiques have added 18-year old goaltender Nathan St-Pierre from the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada for a 10th round pick in the 2025 QMJHL Draft.

St-Pierre was signed by the Armada after having a strong pre-season performance, which saw him stop all 17 shots against him.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 174 pounds, he has been playing in the QJHL this season with the Terrebonne Cobras.

There he's held up a .928 save percentage over seven games -- ahead of former QMJHL goalies Mathis Lussier and Luciano Ruggiero for first in the league in save percentage.

With Gatineau sitting at dead last and losing goaltender Zach Pelletier to injury, the team could use the extra insulation between the pipes.

Should he debut with the team, St-Pierre wouldn't be the only player to play in the QMJHL in his family as he is cousins with former Rouyn-Noranda Huskies forward and Chicago Blackhawks alumni Alexandre Fortin and the nephew of former Halifax Moosehead and Stanley Cup Champion Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
