Schultz, 20, has eight points (3+5) over 26 games this season.
Across 228 QMJHL games -- all with the Mooseheads -- the five-foot-11 blueliner tallied 131 points (20+111).
At the start of the 2024-25 season, Schultz was one of the very few US-born players in the league. However, with the official ruling that allowed CHL talent to remain eligible for NCAA division-I hockey arriving in November, the league has welcomed a number of American talent. The move also allowed the veteran point-man to find a home for next season.
Schultz is the first QMJHL player to ink a commitment with Quinnipiac.
