Jan Sprynar with the Halifax Mooseheads

After parts of three seasons in the QMJHL, it appears Jan Sprynar's time in the league is up. The 19-year old Czech forward heads home, signing a contract with HC Litvinov of the Czech top league.

The left winger had nine points (5+4) over 19 games with the Mooseheads this season.

All-in-all, the former 2022 CHL Import first rounder skated in 146 games in the QMJHL between the Rimouski Océanic, Shawinigan Cataractes and the Mooseheads and tallied 87 points (43+44).

This leaves Halifax with only one import in German defender Carlos Handel (11 in 28). While QMJHL teams don't need to have two imports on the team, just no more than two, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Mooseheads will look to pick up an import via trade or waivers before the end of the trade window.
