The 19-year-old should provide some more depth to the 'Nics back end.
The Rimouski Océanic have been one of the positive surprises of the young QMJHL campaign thus far, and they've now made another addition to their group.
That would be the signing of Tommy Miller, a Minnesota-born blueliner that joins the team from the West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL, where he's played six games this season.
Before this season, Miller has played mainly in the Minnesota high school system, though he also has a few games of NAHL experience under his belt as well.
This addition should be a nice boost to the defensive corps of Rimouski, a team that all of a sudden is looking like a legitimate threat in a loaded Eastern conference. Mathys Dube has been excellent, and other new additions in Americans Caiden Pellegrino and Phin Howard, as well as import Max Mares have really lifted this team to being a fantastic one.
Miller willl hope to help keep the good vibes rolling, and will provide a simple, defensive-style game to the 'Nics.
He does not currently have any active NCAA commitment, but a good season in Rimouski could absolutely see some interest come his way.
