The Gatineau Olympiques have announced the signing of 2024 QMJHL second round pick, defenseman Michel Myloserdnyy.
Myloserdnyy, 16, has picked up seven points (0+7) across 12 games with Stanstead College in the Canadian high school hockey circuit.
The 6-foot-7 blueliner made his debut in last night's game against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada making him the fourth player from the Olympiques 2024 draft class to play in the league.
The left shot defender joined the Olympiques at training camp this summer, but left early to preserve NCAA eligibility. With the ruling in November allowing CHL players to keep Division-I eligibility, Myloserdnyy was able to make the move to the QMJHL without losing his chance at college.
Myloserdnyy remains uncommitted to any NCAA program as of yet.
