Fresh off of finding a new home in the QMJHL, the league's point leader Jonathan Fauchon has seemingly already secured his home for next season.
According to reporter Mark Divver, the overage forward has committed to Providence College.
Fauchon, 20, has 50 points (25+25) across 31 games with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, where he served as the team's captain.
The right winger is the team's franchise point leader with 220 points (97+23), amassed across 227 games with the club.
He was recently the main piece in the largest trade of the re-opening of the QMJHL trade period, which saw the superstar head to the Rimouski Océanic to help try and secure them a Memorial Cup.
Fauchon is Providence's first commitment from the league.
