

Rouyn-Noranda Huskies forward Antonin Verreault (Photo: Ghyslain Bergeron)One of the biggest QMJHL free agents is now off the board as overage forward Antonin Verreault will lend his talents to the Quinnipiac Bobcats of the NCAA starting in 2025-26.
Verreault, 21, is coming off of an 85 point season (37+48) through 63 games with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
The former second overall pick of the 2020 QMJHL draft has just wrapped up a five season major junior career, where he amassed 296 points (103+193) through 256 games between the Gatineau Olympiques and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
Verreault was able to pick up some hardware throughout his time in the 'Q' including the Michel Bergeron trophy for offensive rookie of the year in 2020-21 and the Jean Beliveau trophy in 2023-24 for most points with 107.
