Baie-Comeau put up their best performance of the past two seasons, beating a very good Quebec team.
November started with the end of the seventh weekend of QMJHL action. There were seven games in action across the league, including a pair of inter-CHL contests with Val-d'Or travelling to North Bay and Rouyn-Noranda travelling to Sudbury, with the QMJHL team beating the OHL team in both contests.
Staying with Q vs Q matchups, there was a major upset in Quebec City, with the bottom of the table Drakkar taking down the top-ranked Remparts.

But, in recent weeks, the results have started to turn around, at least a little bit. They aren't getting blown out every night, and there are nights where they can legitimately hang with the top teams.
That happened at the Centre Vidéotron on Sunday, the second of a back-to-back between these two teams. While Halloween's encounter was an easy Quebec win, November is a new month, with a new end result in this fixture.
It was a great first period for the visiting Drakkar, who got goals from Mattias Gilbert and Brayden Besner to take a 2-0 lead into the intermission, despite being outshot 8-6.
Jonathan Oschigan made it 3-0 in the second, and upset watch was really on. James Scantlebury put home his 11th of the season shorthanded to get a goal back for the Remparts, but it was still a two-goal lead for the visitors as the clock struck zero on the middle frame.
In the third, Xavier Sabourin scored his first of the year to restore the three-goal lead, and put some distance on the game. Scantlebury's second of the day was all for naught, as Samuel Brunet put one into an empty net to give Baie-Comeau a shock 5-2 victory on the road.
Mathias Hernandez was massive, making 36 saves en route to victory. The Drakkar didn't have too many chances, but were efficient in putting away the ones they got, and they bent but didn't break on the defensive end.
