Recap: Huskies Drop Nine Treats On Halloween

There's nothing quite like Halloween hockey, and the QMJHL had six games in a fright-filled afternoon of play.

The fans in Rouyn-Noranda got sent home with plenty of treats, and nine goals from their hometown Huskies in a big win.

This one was all Huskies, and Andreas Straka opened the scoring just 3:46 into the first. While Olivier Charron got the game level at 1-1 soon after, a pair of power-play goals from Samuel Beauchemin and Cole Renaud gave the hosts a 3-1 lead heading into the break.

In the second, Antoine St-Laurent made it four, before Julien Bergeron got one back. The red-hot Huskies power play struck again at the end of a period, with Samuel Rheault restoring the three-goal lead.

Eliot Ogonowski would make it 6-2 just 23 seconds into the third, before Charles-Etienne Boulet scored his first QMJHL goal for the Huskies' seventh of the night.

Charles Laforest would make it seven, before Malik Tremblay would add his first in the QMJHL to make the lead 9-2.

A late Bergeron power-play marker was just consolation, and Rouyn-Noranda walked away with a massive 9-3 victory, with nine different goal scorers.
