After five seasons in the QMJHL, Pier-Olivier Roy is turning his sights to professional hockey opting to sign in France's Ligue Magnus with the Rouen Dragons for the 2025-26 season.
Roy, 21, is coming off of a 32 point (2+30), 61 game season with the Rimouski Océanic, before notching 19 points (3+16) over 21 games in the playoffs and two assists through three games at the Memorial Cup.
All-in-all, the former seventh overall pick in the 2020 QMJHL draft has amassed 186 points (24+162) over 283 games between the Victoriaville Tigres and the Océanic.

Alongside his signing in France, Roy was also drafted fourth overall in the Quebec-based semi-pro Ligue Nord-Americain de Hockey's draft by the Thetford Mines Assurancia.
