After a four-year OHL career, Chris Barlas is making the move further East, signing with the Saint John Sea Dogs for the 2025-26 season.

Barlas, 20, is coming off of a 31 point (13+18), 67-game season with the Ottawa 67's in 2024-25. Barlas is a former 12th overall pick for the 67's in 2021, and has accrued 80 points (36+44) over 220 OHL games, all in Ottawa.

Barlas will look to help bring some grit and offense to the Sea Dogs forward core this season.

He has yet to secure any NCAA or USports commitments for 2026-27.
