The Sherbrooke Phoenix have added 6-foot-3 netminder Justin BriseBois to their roster for the 2025-26 season.
BriseBois, 18, had amassed a .917 save percentage through 29 games with the St. Mark's Prep School in the United States high school circuit. Notably, Justin is the son of Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Julien BriseBois.
With this signing, the Sherbrooke Phoenix will have to make tough decisions between the crease. With Sherbrooke selecting three players in the CHL import draft, it guarantees that Latvian sensation Linards Feldbergs will not return for his overage season between the crease. Instead, the team will likely run with Kyan Labbe as the starting goaltender, barring a trade, and have Luc-Antoine Labbe and Justin BriseBois battle for the remaining spot.
