

Following a first round playoff sweep in the Spring of 2005, the Rimouski Oceanic extended their undefeated streak to 32 games. However, the accomplishment was not recognized by the folks in charge at the Canadian Hockey League as the streak spanned the regular season and the playoffs.
The London Knights set the record with a 31-game unbeaten streak, all in the regular season games, during the 2004-2005 campaign.
Switching gears, the author also highlighted the decision of Chris Bourque to join the QMJHL's Moncton Wildcats after playing 35 games for Boston University of the NCAA.
