The Val-d'Or Foreurs have traded 2005-born left winger Nathan Baril to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for a 2027 second round pick, a 2027 third and a 2025 fourth.
Baril, 19, has 33 points (10+23) across 34 games with the Foreurs this season, while serving as one of the team's alternate captains.
A former 18th overall pick in the 2021 QMJHL draft by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Baril has played in 224 career QMJHL games between both teams, scoring 124 points (54+70).
The Volts will look to avenge their dreadful Memorial Cup berth last season, and Baril is just the kind of piece the team could use.
