Since 2003-04, CCM has supplied gear and eventually jerseys for the CHL and after a long 21 years, their parternship with the league has come to an end.
Under Armour has solid experience in hockey outtfitting, dressing several NCAA teams including Boston College, Notre Dame, University of Wisconsin among others. Additionally, the move to an American jersey supplier alongside the new NCAA rules might be signs of the tides shifting towards further expansion southward between the three leagues.
As for supplying the rest of the gear, the CHL has partered with Bauer to supply gloves, sticks, helmets and padding. Bauer, a Canadian company based in the United States, has extensive history in equipment manufacturing and previously supplied the AHL's jerseys in the late 1990s to early 2000s.
Both companies will supply for all CHL related games from training camps, to regular season and playoffs to the CHL/USA hockey prospect showcase.

However, fans will have to wait until closer to the regular season to get their hands on the new jerseys themselves.
