The Océanic continue to drain their roster, trading away upcoming overager Mael St-Denis to the Val-d'Or Foreurs for two second rounders.

St-Denis, 20, is coming off of a 41-point season (22+19) through 54 games. Throughout his four seasons in the league, the former 10th overall pick has picked up 136 points (68+66) over 228 games.

Having previously netted 58 points and 32 goals in 2023-24, the Val-d'Or Foreurs are hoping for either a return or an expansion upon his form as they push to contend next season.
